Ainslie MacLeod is an internationally acclaimed psychic, and author of The Transformation: Healing Your Past-Life Fears to Realize Your Soul’s Potential (Sounds True, 2010) and The Instruction: Living the Life Your Soul Intended (Sounds True, 2007).

SPIRIT GUIDES

As a psychic, I have a unique perspective on the subject of the soul. I spend my days communicating with elevated spirit guides whose purpose is to help those of us on the Physical Plane connect with our soul’s purpose.

The Three Planes
When I discuss the soul and spirit guides, I refer to three distinct planes of existence. They are:

The Physical Plane
The first and most solid plane is the three-dimensional world we inhabit here on earth.

The Astral Plane
The Astral Plane is the nearest non-physical world to this. It’s where we go when we die, and is the home to Astral spirit guides.

The Causal Plane
When we’ve completed all our incarnations on the Physical Plane, we move beyond the Astral to the Causal Plane, where all of us will eventually spend time as spirit guides.

Although my guides exist in the soul world, they’ve all experienced every facet of life on Earth. They understand how tough it can be for us. They’ve suffered all the pain and heartache associated with being human.

Spirit guides are there to help. They are compassionate and entirely non-judgmental.

From their vantage point on the Causal Plane, they see the big picture. They know who you are and why you're here. They want to assist you by giving you insight and direction that will help you and our soul make the most out of this lifetime.

If they have one purpose, it is to empower you. An old Chinese proverb says, “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” Causal Plane guides want to teach you to fish.

More precisely, they want to give you an understanding of your life’s purpose that will allow you to make better decisions, and move forward with confidence, knowing who you are and why you’re here.

The Soul World
I use the term “Soul World” to describe that part of the spiritual universe that contains both your soul and your spirit guides.
